Amazon launches 'Music Unlimited' streaming service


Amazon has launched Amazon Music Unlimited on-demand music streaming in the U.S to take on Spotify, Apple Music and Google Play Music.

Amazon Music Unlimited will be available to Amazon Prime members for $7.99 per month or $79 a year, which is cheaper than what Spotify and Apple Music charge. Additionally Amazon Echo (voice-controlled device) users will get the service for just $3.99 per month. Non-Prime users will have to pay $9.99 per month.

With Amazon's latest music service, subscribers will get access to tens of millions of songs, thousands of hand curated playlists and personalized stations. Amazon is also offering a 30-day free trial of the new Music Unlimited service.

The service is now available in the U.S on iOS, Android, PC, Mac, Amazon Echo & tablets and the web. It will also come to UK, Germany and Austria later this year.
