Gionee outs P7 Max with 5.5-inch display, 3GB RAM in Nepal


Gionee has launched a new mid-range smartphone in Nepal dubbed P7 Max. The handset sports a premium metal unibody design and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo UI 3.2 on top.

The Gionee P7 Max has 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a layer of scratch resistant glass and is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6595 processor coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 32GB, which is expandable via microSD card.

The camera department rocks a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP selfie snapper. For connectivity, it supports dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It is fueled by 3100mAh battery, which promises 290 hours of standby time.

The Gionee P7 Max is on sale at Rs. NPR 21,000 ($197 | Rs. 14,000) in Nepal. As of now, it is not known, whether the handset will be launched in India. Recently, the brand launched the S6 Pro in the country for Rs. 23,999.
