Leaked slides reveal possible specifications and pricing details of Mi Note 2


Xiaomi will introduce its next flagship the Mi Note 2 with curved display on October 25. Ahead of the unveiling, a few presentations slides of Mi Note 2 have surfaced online revealing most of its specs and pricing details.

According to leaked slides, the Mi Note 2 wil feature LG-made 5.7-inch AMOLED QHD (2K) display with pressure sensitive touch, Snapdragon 821 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU, 4G/6G RAM, 64GB/128GB UFS 2.0 storage, dual camera setup with  23MP Sony IMX318 + 12MP Sony IMX378 units and 8MP front camera.

Just like the Mi 5s, the Mi Note 2 will have Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which is embedded below the screen. It will also boast an iris scanner as alternative biometric security, a feature that was used in Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 and Microsoft's Lumia 950/950 XL.

Other specifications include NFC, USB-C, 4100mAh battery and Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.

The Mi Note 2 will be available in two versions: 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage. If the slides are authentic, then the Mi Note 2 4GB RAM/64GB storage version will cost CNY 2799 ($415 | Rs. 28,000), and the top version with 6GB RAM/128GB storage will be priced at CNY 2999 ($444 | Rs. 30,000).

We should know more about Mi Note 2, when Xiaomi officially announces it on October 25.
