Xiaomi Redmi 3S+ launched in India for Rs. 9,499

As reported earlier, Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 3S+ in India that is exclusively aimed at the offline market in India. The Redmi 3S+ is basically a Redmi 3S, but comes with 2GB RAM instead of 3GB, while other specs remain same.

The Redmi 3S+ is priced at Rs. 9,499, which is high compared to  Redmi 3S prime, which is available online for Rs. 8,999. One of the reason for the high pricing could be that, it is being sold offline, and there is not much competition from offline retailers, considering the specs.

The Redmi 3S+ will be available across over 7,500 stores starting today October 1. It will be also be available across key Large Format Retailers such as Poorvika, Sangeetha, BIG C, and LOT mobiles via their distributors such as Redington, Innocomm and Just Buy Live.

Apart from 2GB RAM, the Redmi 3S+ has 5-inch 720p display, octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, 32GB inbuilt storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE and fingerprint scanner. It runs MIUI based Android Marshmallow and is backed by 4100mAh battery, that is rated to deliver two days of battery life.
