LG V34 with 5.2-inch display reportedly coming to Europe as V20 S


Following the launch of V20, LG introduced a mini version of the phone exclusively for Japan market called isai Beat V34

Now according to reports the LG isai Beat V34 will be released in international markets including Europe as the LG V20 S. LG has already filed a trademark for the upcoming V20 S smartphone in Europe, indicating a launch in that continent.

Similar to LG V20, the isai Beat V34/ V20 S also has a secondary always-on ticker display above the main screen and dual-rear camera setup, but comes in a smaller form factor. The phone has a 5.2-inch display instead of 5.7-inch on the V20. In addition, the V20 S will have IP68 casing (splash resistant), which is missing in V20.

Moreover, LG V34 isai Beat/ V20 S measures 149 x 72 x 8mm and weighs 146 grams, whereas the LG V20 measures 159.7 x 78 x 7.6 mm and weighs 174 grams.

Apart from these changes, the LG V34 isai Beat/ V20 S shares most of the hardware including QHD display, Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 16MP dual-rear cameras, 8MP front camera, Quad DAC speaker and 3000mAh battery. It will run Android 7.0 Nougat.

Currently, it's not known when LG will launch the V20 S. Meanwhile, according to reports the V20 is expected to land in India sometime this month carrying a price tag of Rs. 49,900.
