OnePlus release Oxygen OS Open Beta 7 for OnePlus 3


OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS Open Beta 7 build for the now discontinued OnePlus 3 smartphone. The update brings bug fixes, stability improvement and Audio Tuner feature, that will improve the audio listening experience.

It also adds  background app freezing mechanism and redesigned acent color and clock UI, and includes the Android security patach update for November.

The update is being rolled out worldwide and weighs in at 59MB. You can also download the OTA file or full ROM from OnePlus website directly and flash it manually on your OnePlus 3.

Note that if you've flashed a previous Open Beta build, you will receive the latest beta update via OTA. If not you have to flash the build by ADB side load, once done, you'll will get future Open Beta via OTAs.

As far as Android Nougat release is concerned, OnePlus has confirmed that the Nougat beta build will be made available to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T  later this month, and roll out the stable version in December.
