vivo Xplay6 is official with curved display, Snapdragon 820 and dual-rear cameras


Besides the dual-front facing camera toting X9 and X9 Plus, vivo also introduced Xplay6 smartphone in China rocking a curved display, just like Samsung Galaxy edge series, Mi Note 2 and Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Apart from the curved display, the Xplay6 also boasts flagship grade specs including Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor and a dual-rear camera system.

The vivo Xplay6 has a full metal unibody design, 5.46-inch Quad HD curved display and is equipped with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, fingerprint scanner (embedded into home button) and 4080mAh battery backed by fast charging.

It has dual rear camera setup with a 12MP Sony IMX362 (with f/1.7 aperture, 4-axis OIS and PDAF) + 5MP for capturing depth information. Camera on the front is a 16MP f/2.0 unit for selfies and video calling.

Other features include dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, ES9038 DAC+ OPA1622 amplifier and Funtouch OS 3.0 based Android Marshmallow.

The vivo Xplay6 is priced at CNY 4499 ($654 | Rs. 45,000) and will be available in China from December 12 in Gold and Rose Gold colors.
