ZTE USA launches Axon 7 with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, force touch display at $400


The ZTE Axon 7 was introduced in China back in May in two variants ― 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage). The Axon 7 also released in the U.S and Europe market, but only the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model was made available carrying a price tag of $400.

Now ZTE has launched the 6GB RAM/128GB storage model of Axon 7 in the U.S, with the addition pressure-sensitive force touch display as well. The new enhanced version of Axon 7 will be available in limited quantities from ZTE USA online store for $499 (Rs. 34,000).

As for the other specs, the Axon 7 version will feature premium metal unibody design, 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 20MP OIS main camera and 8MP front camera

Other features include hybrid dual-SIM slots, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type-C. Also on-board is a dedicated AKM4961 and AKM4490 audio chips with 32-bit DAC to power the HiFi audio support

The Axon 7 runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based MiFavor UI 4.0 and is fueled by 3250mAh battery backed by Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

  1. It's a great phone with a few minor quirks and sub-par cell reception but still a killer deal all things considered. ZTE Axon 7 phone runs on 6.0 marshmallow android platform.
