Airtel announces two new infinity plans for postpaid users starting at Rs. 549


To tackle Jio's free services, Airtel has announced two new infinity plans ―Rs. 549 and Rs. 799 ― for its postpaid users, which offer unlimited voice calls, free incoming roaming calls and data benefits. Previously Rs. 1,199 was the lowest myPlan infinity offer

The Rs. 549 plan offers unlimited local and STD calls, unlimited incoming on roaming calls, 100 local and STD SMS per day along with 1GB data for 3G users or 3GB data for 4G users.

The Rs. 799 plan gives you the same benefit as the Rs. 549 plan, but offers 5GB data for 4G users and 3GB data for 3G users. Both plans come bundled with unlimited monthly access to Airtel's Wynk Music and Wynk Movies services. 

The older infinity plans ― Rs. 1,199, Rs. 1,599, Rs. 1999 and Rs. 2,999 ― have received an upgrade.

Now Rs. 1,199 gives you 10GB/6GB of 4G/3G data (up from 1GB of 3G/4G data), Rs. 1,599 offers 15GB 4G/3G data (up from 5GB), Rs. 1,999 gives 20GB 3G/4G data (up from 15GB) and Rs. 2,999 gives 30GB of 4G/3G data (up from 20GB) to users. Other benefits remains the same.

If users go beyond the data limit in any of these plans, they will be charged 50 paise per MB.
