Blu Life Max with 3300mAh battery launches in the U.S for $119


U.S based smartphone maker Blu has launched a battery-centric budget smartphone in its home market. Dubbed Blu Life Max, it packs a beefy 3700mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to three days of battery life with standard usage and 30 days of standby time. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Running Android Marshmallow, the Blu Life Max features 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 w/ Mali T720 GPU, 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, it gets 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording capability and 5MP front camera for selfies and video calling, and both the cameras come with flash modules. Connectivity options include dual-SIM slots 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS.

The Blu Life Max is priced at $118.87 (Rs. 8,000) and will be available in the U.S via Blu's official retail partner and online on Amazon. The phone comes bundled with screen protector and case.
