Asus X00GD with Android Nougat, 4850mAh battery passes TENAA


A new Asus smartphone with model number X00GD recently got certified by China's TENAA (Telecommunication Equipment Certification Centre) revealing key specs of the smartphone. Additionally, X00GD was also spotted on GFXBenchmark.

Interestingly Asus X00GD will run Android 7.0 Nougat, making it the first Asus phone to ship with Nougat. Another highlight of the phone is its beefy battery capacity of 4850mAh battery. It also includes a fingerprint scanner, which is likely to house the fingerprint sensor.

Apart from these, the rest of the specs point that Asus X00GD will be a mid-range phone. It will feature 5.2-inch HD display and 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek M6750 processor w/ Mali-T860 GPU,, 13MP rear camera w/ dual LED flash, 8MP front shooter, 4G VoLTE support and a microSD card slot forstorage expansion.

The Asus X00GD will reportedly come in several variants with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB storage in luxury gold, rose gold and black. It will measure 149.5 x 73.7 x 8.85mm and weighs 169g.

Currently the pricing and availability details are not known.
