Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge will get Android Nougat in January
Samsung has been testing Android Nougat beta build on Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge smartphone since the second week of November. Now the company has revealed it plans to roll out the final version of the OS to Galaxy S7/S7 edge.
Samsung while announcing the end of Galaxy Beta program, revealed that it plans to push Nougat update for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in January. Samsung said that it would do their best “to distribute the official version in January as soon as possible.”
With the end of the Nougat beta program, Samsung will not release any new beta version, and stop taking feedback related to error report and suggestion.
Moreover, the South Korean tech giant also thanked all the members who participated in the Beta program, and promised to apply most of the feedback it received during the course of the beta program in the official Nougat release.
