Black Pearl Samsung Galaxy S7 edge with glossy finish announced

The Galaxy S7 edge is available in a variety of colors including Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl, Silver Titanium, Pink Gold and Blue Coral. Now Samsung has introduced a the seventh color edition of the Galaxy S7 Edge dubbed as the Black Pearl with glossy finish.

The Black Pearl Galaxy S7 edge will be available only in 128GB version and is priced at 10,12,000 won ($873 | Rs. 58,990). Starting December 9 it will be available in select markets including South Korea.

Regarding the Black Pearl Galaxy S7 edge, Samsung says "Black Pearl was designed to be modern and striking. The sleek black finish blankets the entire device – edges and all – and adds depth to its glass design. The result is a stylish all-black aesthetic that captures the essence of the color in its purest form." 

It's worth mentioning that iPhone 7/ 7 Plus also comes in a similar color, which Apple calls Jet Black and has a glossy finish as well. This is not the first time Samsung is following in the footsteps of iPhone colors. Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Pink Gold Galaxy S7 edge, which is somewhat the same as iPhone 6S' Rose Gold color.
