Samsung Galaxy S8 may have a feature called Beast Mode

Samsung's budget smartphone comes with various modes like S-Bike mode, data saver mode, ultra power saving mode and more to boost performance. Now it appears that Samsung might add a new mode on its upcoming flagship Galaxy S8 to tackle intensive tasks with ease.

The South Korean tech giant recently filed a trademark for the term 'beast mode' in the EU. The trademark application does not reveal the working of this feature, but as the name suggests it will be performance related and will have to something with increasing the phones performance by taking advantage of the hardware to boost gaming, VR and camera capabilities.

Two versions of Galaxy S8 will be unveiled this year, one a 5.7-inch model with curved display and other a 6.2-inch model with bezel-less display. The Galaxy S8 is expected to come with optical fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 835/Exynos 8895 processor, 6GB RAM and built-in AI assistant.

According to latest rumor, Samsung will  unveil the Galaxy S8 at a dedicated event in New York in April instead of MWC 2017.
