LG's ProBeam portable laser projector is bright enough for daytime use


LG has introduced a new laser projector called LG ProBeam, which is designed to deliver the ideal home cinema viewing experience. The projector has portable design thanks to its innovative I-shaped laser engine that makes it easier to hold in one hand. It is also claimed to be the industry's lightest Full HD laser projector at 2.1kg.

Despite being portable the LG ProBeam features an advanced laser engine that produces up to 2,000 lumens of brightness, making the content it projects bright enough for viewable during day time use.

It comes loaded with 'Sound Sync Adjustment', enabling it to be paired with Bluetooth speakers and headphones; and 'Wireless Mirroring' to take advantage of Mircast to project content from a smarty device to the screen.

LG says that users will have access to number of streaming services like YouTube and Netflix and relevant program via its Web OS platform which can be accessed using the Magic Remote Control.

LG's new projector will be showcased at CES 2017.
