Vodafone India offers double 4G data for all prepaid plans over Rs. 255

To take on Reliance Jio's free data offer, Vodafone India has announced that it will now offer double 4G data for all its existing plans that are priced over Rs. 255, thereby reducing prices by 50%.

Under the new plans, Vodafone prepaid users will get 2GB of 4G data at Rs. 255. With Rs. 459 and Rs. 559 data packs, users will get 6GB and 8GB of 4G data respectively, while the Rs. 999 and Rs. 1,999 plans will now offer 20GB and 40GB of 4G data respectively. All these packs will have a validity of 28 days, and will be available across all the circles where Vodafone 4G is available.

Following the commercial launch of Jio's services, Vodafone and other telecos in the country have introduced a slew of plans to keep its customers at bay. Vodafone had recently introduced one-year data pack priced at Rs. 1,501, which gives you 15GB of data upfront and recharge benefit of 1GB of 3G data for Rs. 53.
