Xiaomi to launch refreshed Mi Notebook Air with 4G support on December 23


Chinese device maker, Xiaomi, popularly known for its smartphone forayed into the PC market with the launch of Mi Notebook Air in July this year. The most noticeable thing about Xiaomi's laptop was its design which closely resembles Apple's Macbook Air.

Now Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of an upgraded Mi Notebook Air. The company has scheduled an event on December 23 in China, for which it has released invites.

The invite shows the right side of the laptop which has similar design to Mi Notebook Air, however, there's a 4G network signal in the lower right corner of the screen, indicating that the upgraded model will have 4G LTE support to offer connectivity on-the-go. Moreover we can expect the laptop to get a Kaby Lake upgrade.

To recap, the first edition od Mi Notebook Air comes in 12.5-inch or 13.3-inch Full HD display with edge-to-edge glass protection, Intel Core i5-6200U Skylake processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Windows 10 USB Type-C and 40Wh battery.
