Android Nougat rolling out to ZUK Z2 and ZUK Z2 Pro in China

Lenovo sub-brand ZUK, keeping its promise, has started rolling out Android Nougat for the ZUK Z2 and ZUK Z2 Pro in China. The update comes as ZUI 2.5.335 based on Android Nougat.

ZUI 2.5.335 for ZUK Z2 and Z2 Pro brings latest security patch, bug fixes and new features like custom lockscreen themes, split-screen or multi-windows mode, professional camera mode, improved battery, game recording options, info cards for text messages and more.

The new professional camera mode will let users adjust ISO up to 3200, Shutter speed up to 32 seconds, adjust white balance, color tone, focus and more for captuing better photos using the 13MP main camera. It also includes U-Touch fingerprint sensor improvements to add payment support for WeChat, QQ and Alipay

The update package weighs in at 1.1GB and is currently rolling out only in China. The global variant of ZUK Z2 (Lenovo Z2 Plus in India) is expected to get the update soon.

ZUK has also promised that the Snapdragon 801 powered ZUK Z1 will get Nougat as well. The beta build will roll out by end of this month.
