Vivo V5 Plus with dual front cameras on pre-order in India for Rs. 27,980

A day after going official, select Indian retailers have started taking pre-orders for the dual-selfie camera toting vivo V5 Plus for Rs. 27,980, ahead of the launch. Those who pre-book will get a complimentary VR box as well.

The vivo V5 Plus is a mid-range smartphone and has dual camera system on the front 20MP Sony IMX376 + 8MP for depth sensing and adds DSLR-like bokeh effect while taking selfies. The main camera is a 16MP unit with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. Both front and rear cameras gets LED flash.

As for the other specs, vivo V5 Plus features 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 4G LTE, fingerprint scanner, Hi-Fi audio and 3160mAh battery. It runs Android Marshmallow based Funtouch OS 3.0.

The vivo V5 Plus launches in India on January 23.
