Moto G5 Plus running CPU-Z leaks, reveals specs


Motorola has scheduled its pre-MWC event on February 26, where the company is expected to announce the Moto G5 series (Moto G5, Moto G5 Plus, Moto G5 Play).

One of the handset of the series, the Moto G5 Plus have recently been part of leaks. It was first spotted at OLX Romania revealing live photos and specs. Now a photo of Moto G5 Plus running information detection app CPU-Z has surfaced that confirms some of the previously leaked specs.

As seen in the photo, the Moto G5 Plus (XT1685) will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage. 13MP/5MP cameras, NFC support and run Android Nougat. That's all the information revealed.



As for the other specs, the Moto G5 Plus is expected to come with 3100mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, an optional 64GB storage variant (rumor), dual-SIM slots and 4G LTE. It will sport metal body, which is first time in a Moto G series smartphone.

It's younger sibling, the Moto G5 is said to feature the same specs as Moto G5 Plus, but come with 3GB RAM and a different camera sensor.

The Moto G5 Plus is rumored to be priced at Rs. 14,999 ($299 in the U.S) for the 4GB RAM/32GB model, while the Moto G5 is rumored to carry a price tag of Rs. 12,999 ($249 in the U.S). 

The Moto G5 series is expected to launch in India in March.
