Nougat hits Europen HTC 10, One M9 within two weeks, Indian HTC 10, One M9+, One A9 soon
HTC has already pushed Android Nougat to unlocked versions of HTC 10, One M9 and One A9 in the U.S. Now the company will soon extend the Nougat update to other regions as well.
HTC has announced that it will roll out Android Nougat for unlocked HTC 10 and One M9 units in Europe in the next two weeks, followed by carrier versions. The confirmation came from Graham Wheeler, Product and Service Director of HTC EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Asia region).
As for the One A9, the update is still work-in-progress for Europe, and HTC promises to provide more information soon.
Meanwhile HTC India has also confirmed that, the company will soon roll out Android Nougat update to HTC 10, One M9+ and One A9 smartphones, without revealing an exact time frame or date. However, the roll can be expected at the same time or soon after the European units get the update.
Android Nougat for the HTC 10, One M9 (M9+ in India), and One A9 will bring new features like improved notification bar, Night Mode, Multi-windows mode, improved doze bug fixes and system enhancements along with Android security patch for January.
