OxygenOS 4.0.2 update rolling out to OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T

Soon after pushing OxygenOS 4.0 update with Android Nougat to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, OnePlus released OxygenOS 4.0.1 update for these phones with minor improvements and bug fixes.

Now OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.0.2 to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, which includes more bug fixes and improved stability. The update will also fix Google Play Store download bug that users have been experiencing since the release of OxygenOS 4.0.1, which prevented them from downloading apps from Play Store.

However, users might still continue to experience WiFi connectivity fluctuation, even after this update. The rest of the changelog is similar to that of OxygenOS 4.0.1.

New features in OxygenOS 4.0.2
  • Upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat
    • New Notifications Design
    • New Settings Menu Design
    • Multi-Window View
    • Notification Direct Reply
    • Custom DPI Support
    • Added Status Bar Icon options
  • Improved Shelf Customization
  • Updated APN Settings for select Carriers
  • Fixed Proximity Sensor bug during calls
  • Fixed Google Play Store download bug
  • Increased System Stability
The download size of the OTA update is 30MB, and as usual is rolling out in phases, staring with a small percentage of devices, followed by a wider roll out in the coming days. Those who can't wait for the update can download and manually flash the OTA ZIP file (here)to their OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T devices.
