Sony Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3+ Dual now getting Android Nougat

Sony is struggling with its smartphone business, but it is doing an excellent job when it comes to updating the smartphone, when compared to other smartphone makers.

A day after pushing Android Nougat to Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium, Sony is now rolling out Google's latest Android flavor to Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z3+ Dual.

The Xperia Z3+ is getting the same update as Xperia Z5, and carries the same 32.3.A.0.372 build number. The OTA update weighing 1347.6MB is rolling out gradually to a small percentage of devices, and a wider-roll out should take place over the coming days.

The update will bring new features like multi-windows support, new notification panel, improved messaging app, new Xperia home screen with Google now integration, improved battery life, Stamina mode, self-time button for front camera interface and updates the Android security patch level to December 1.
