Samsung India to reportedly launch Galaxy C9 Pro on January 18
Samsung's first smartphone packing 6GB RAM, the Galaxy C9 Pro was announced in China back in October 2016. The phone was exclusive to China, but now it appears that Galaxy C9 Pro will be released in other parts of the world as well.
According to Sam Mobile, the Galaxy C9 Pro will be launched in India on January 18. If true we should know the pricing and availability details of Galaxy C9 Pro next Wednesday.
To recap the specs, the Galaxy C9 Pro is a mid-range smartphone and features 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor, 64GB storage, microSD card slot, 16MP front & rear camera, dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE support, USB Type-C, fingerprint scanner and 4000mAh battery.
The Galaxy C9 Pro is available in China for a equivalent of Rs. 31,700, so the India price could be somewhere around that. If this is the case than Galaxy C9 Pro will face competition from OnePlus 3T and Le Max 2, that boasts top-end specs like QHD display and Snapdragon 820/821 processor.
Apart from India, the Galaxy C9 Pro is also expected to release in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam in the coming months.
