Wileyfox Swift 2 X with CyanogenOS 13.1 announced
Wileyfox has expanded its Swift family with the launch of Swift 2X. It sports an aviation-grade aluminum body that's 8.8mm thick.
The Wileyfox Swift 2 X features 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 display, Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage. It comes with 16MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, Samsung sensor f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. On the front it has 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling.
For connectivity there's hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC (for Android Pay) and USB Type-C. It is fueled by a 3010mAh battery rated to deliver 260 minutes of talk time and 180 hours of standby time. There's also support for Quick Charge 3.0 and includes a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Surprisingly the Wileyfox Swift 2X is running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based Cyanogen OS 13.1, which is weird, given that the OS is dead. However, the brand has already confirmed that its working on Android Nougat update for its entire portfolio of devices, and will release it by the end of first quarter.
The Wileyfox Swift 2 X is now available for £219 ($266 | Rs. 18,000) in the U.K from Wileyfox's website.
