Gionee F5 with 4G VoLTE, 4000mAh battery announced

Gionee has expanded its 'F' line up smartphone with the launch of F5. The mid-range smartphone runs Android Marshmallow based Amigo OS 3.2 and is fueled by 4000mAh battery, promising nine hours of video playback, 28 hours of talk time and 2.5 days of standby time.

The Gionee F5 sports a unibody metal design and has its fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. It features 5.3-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display and is equipped with 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor w/ Mali T860 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, the Gionee F5 boasts 13MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Gionee F5 is priced at CNY 1799 ($260 | Rs. 17,600) and will be available in Gold and Rose Gold hues. Gionee is also bundling a selfie stick and USB light.
