Samsung Galaxy Book Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet announced


Apart from Android Nougat powered Galaxy Tab S3, Samsung also expanded it Windows 10 tablet line up at MWC 2017 as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Book is a 2-in-1 tablet  designed with productivity in mind and comes with detachable keyboard, for using it like a laptop and S-Pen digital pen input with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

Samsung will offer the tablet with the option of 10.6-inch and 12-inch screen sizes. The 10.6-inch model sports Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) TFT display and is powered by Intel Core m3 Kaby Lake processor. It comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage option, 5MP front camera, a USB 3.1 Type-C port and 30.4W battery with up to 10 hours of battery life.

The 12-inch Galaxy Book on the other hand has 2160 x 1440 pixel Super AMOLED display and Intel Core i5 Kaby Lake-Y processor. It comes in two configurations - 4GB RAM/128GB SSD and 8GB RAM/256GB SSD. The tablet also features 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2 x USB 3.1 Type-C port and a 39.04W battery with up to 10.5 hours of battery life.

Both the 10.6-inch and 12-inch Galaxy Book includes microSD card slot, 4G LTE Cat.6 (optional), WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and fast charging support.

Samsung is yet to announce the pricing and availability details.
