Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 surfaces in press image


Samsung's upcoming budget Galaxy J7 2017 is expected to be called by different names like Galaxy J7 V and Galaxy J7 Sky Pro depending on market or carrier. The handset has already been spotted in renders and at many websites including India's Zauba, WiFi Alliance, Geekbench and GFXBench revealing most of the specs.

Now Evan Blass has shared a press image of Galaxy J7 2017, which indicates the launch in nearing (expected in March). The source says that the Galaxy J7 2017 will release on U.S carrier Verizon as Galaxy J7 V and Tracfone as J7 Sky Pro. In other markets including India, it will be sold as Galaxy J7 2017.

The Galaxy J7 2017 is expected to feature 5.5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP/5MP cameras, and 4G LTE support. The global variant will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 chip, while the U.S bound variants will get Qualcomm's Snapdragon 425 processor.

The phone will run Android Nougat and come with microSD card slot and dual-SIM slots. It will be available in Gold, White and Black colors.
