Xiaomi MAE136, MBE6A5 with 3GB RAM, 4000mAh battery clears TENAA

Two new budget Xiaomi smartphones with model number MAE136 and MBE6A5 have been certified by TENAA revealing the specs and images.

Both Xiaomi phones have unibody metal design with rear mounted fingerprint scanner, and still run on Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8. Unfortunately, the names of the devices are not known.

According to TENAA, the Xiaomi MAE136 will have 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 430 chip, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP/5MP cameras, 4G VoLTE, hybrid dual-SIM slots and a beefy 4000mAh battery. It will be offered in Gold and Silver hues.

The Xiaomi MBE6A5, appears to be a toned down version of dual-camera toting Redmi Pro, as it features the same specs sheet, but gets a single rear facing camera. It includes 5.5-inch Full HD display, Deca-core MediaTek Helio X20/X25 processor, 3GB RAM, 64GB storage, 13MP/5MP cameras, 4G VoLTE, hybrid dual-SIM slots and 4000mAh battery. The phone will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, Matte Black and Dark Gray colors.

Since both devices have passed TENAA, an official announcement could be just around the corner.
