Zen Mobile launches VoLTE enabled Zen Cinemax 4G for Rs. 6,390

Zen Mobile is launching a new budget smartphone called Cinemax 4G with VoLTE (voice over LTE) support running Android Marshmallow.

The Zen Cinemax 4G features 5.5-inch FWVGA display, which is disappointing, considering that most sub-Rs. 5,000 budget smartphone launch with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. It is powered by quad-core processor (unknown make) and comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, that can be expanded via microSD card.

It gets 5MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, and 5MP selfie camera as well. The dual-SIM phone apart from VoLTE also supports 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2900mAh battery runs the show, which is rated to deliver up to 1.5 days of standby time.

The phone also comes pre-loaded with Swalekh keyboard which supports 22 regional language like Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Urdu and more.

Priced at Rs. 6,390, the Zen Cinemax 4G will be available in Champagne and Rose Gold hues, and will be bundled with a free screen protector, and one-time screen replacement in case of any breakage during first six months.

Given the low price tag, the specs are above average on paper, but the use of FWVGA display is a huge let down.
