LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite with Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM announced
LeEco has been struggling as of late, but that is not stopping the Chinese smartphone maker from launching new devices. The company has announced a new edition of Le Pro 3 dubbed Le Pro 3 Elite.
Although the phone has the "Elite" moniker, it does not get any upgrades. Instead the Snapdragon 821 chip utilized by Le Pro 3 has been swapped for a Snapdragon 820 chip on the new Elite model, and also ditches NFC support. More over it comes in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. Except these, the rest of the specs sheet remain unchanged.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite sports premium metal unibody design and 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display. It gets 16MP Sony IMX298 f/2.0 rear camera with PDAF, and 8MP front camera. It still runs Android Marshmallow based eUI 5.8 and does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack, instead it is exquipped with USB Type-C based CDLA standard for audio output via headphones.
Other features include fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac and fast charging. A 4070mAh battery powers the phone. The phone also come with exclusive 3 months membership access to LeEco’s video streaming service.
The new Le Pro 3 Elite is priced at CNY 1699 ($245 | Rs. 16,000) and is already available for purchase in China online via Jingdong, LeEco Mall, Lynx.
