Xiaomi teases Redmi 3S successor is coming soon to India


Xiaomi today launched the Redmi 4A in India priced affordably at Rs. 5,999. However the company is not stopping there, as it will be bringing another budget smartphone(s) to the country soon.

Soon after the launch of Redmi 4A, Xiaomi India on its Twitter handle started teasing the launch of the successor of Redmi 3S soon. The Tweet reads "Oh and by the way, the successor to Redmi 3S is coming soon! How soon? You are just gonna have to wait :)".

The teaser suggests that Xiaomi is readying for the launch of Redmi 4/4S/4S Prime in the country. To refresh your memory, the Redmi 4 was launched in China last November. 



The Redmi 4/4S will pack better specs than the Redmi 4A. The specs include 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 430 chip, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP/5MP cameras, 4G, VoLTE, Android Marshmallow, fingerprint scanner and 4100mAh battery. There's also a beefed up version as well with Snapdragon 625, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

Xiaomi is yet to reveal a launch date.
