AMD Ryzen 5 desktop chips are now available in India starting at Rs. 12,199


As promised AMD's mid-range Rayzen 5 desktop class chips line-up are now available for purchase starting at Rs. 12,199. The lineup includes Ryzen 5 1400, Ryzen 5 1500X, Ryzen 5 1600, Ryzen 5 1600X and carry price tag of Rs. 12,199, Rs, 13,799, Rs. 15,799 and Rs. 18,199 respectively. 

AMD's Ryzen 5 desktop chips are based on is the company's Zen architecture and is AMD's answer to Intel's mid-range Core i5 Kaby Lake processor. They targeted at gamers, content creators and casual users who don't want to spend more on a CPU.

AMD says the Ryzen 5 1400 and 1500X models are designed to deliver the best gaming experience possible, while the Rzen 5 1600X and 1600 models are designed for smooth gaming and broadcasting, and deliver true workstation-class performance

According to AMD, the Ryzen 5 1600X offers 87 percent more performance than Intels' Core i5 i7600k chip. It is also the only CPU in the Ryzen 5 line up that does not come with a cooler, because it is targets at users who would prefer using a higher-end cooler.

The Ryzen 5 chips feature AMD's SenseMI technology and offer impressive multi-tasking capabilities delivering incredible responsiveness and performance. Also they are unlocked processors meaning gamers can attempt to overclock the chip to run at higher speed.
