HTC U Ultra, Desire 10 Pro gets permanent price cuts


Two highly priced HTC smartphones have received a price cut in India ― HTC U Ultra and Desire 10 Pro. 

The phones were launched at Rs. 59,990 and Rs. 26,490 respectively. But now HTC Ultra is priced at Rs. 52,990 (Rs. 7,000 price cut), while the Desire 10 Pro will cost Rs, 23,990 (Rs. 2,500 off). The price drop is permanent, and both phone are available for purchase through HTC India store.

Even after the price drop, the phones are still to pricey, considering the various options available in the smartphone market. Morover, the price drop comes at a time when Samsung, LG and Nokia are gearing up to bring their latest smartphones to the market. As the launch from these brands nears, we can expect more price cuts from HTC.

Specifications
The HTC U Ultra was HTC's first smartphone to sports LG V20-like secondary ticker-Style display on the top of the main screen called that shows important alerts and notifications. It also comes with a feature called Sense Companion an AI-based system that learns users daily patterns to suggest usage recommendation and more. 

Coming to the internals, the HTC U Ultra features 5.7-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 12-UltraPixel rear camera (w/ BSI, PDAF, f/2.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and OIS), 16MP selfie camera, USB Type-C, 4G VoLTE, NFC and 3000mAh battery. It ships with the latest Android Nougat.

The Desire 10 Pro on the other hand comes with 5.5-inch Full HD display, MediaTek Helio P10 chip, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 20MP rear camera, 13MP front camera, 4G LTE, NFC, and 3000mAh battery.
