Intex ELYT-e1 with VoLTE, selfie flash, fingerprint scanner launched at Rs. 6,999

Intex has introduced a new series of smartphone called ELYT, under which it has launched the ELYT-e1. It is an affordable 4G VoLTE smartphone, that offers decent specs and a cheap price tag. 

The Intex ELYT-e1 comes with 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. It comes with 16GB storage, that can be increased via microSD.

For photography, there's 8MP camera on both front and back assisted by LED flash for better low light photos and video calling. Connectivity on-board includes dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It runs Android Marshmallow and packs a 2200mAh battery, that promises 220 hours of standby time and up to 5.5 hours of talk time. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Intex ELYT-e1 is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will be available across the country through retail stores in Champagne color. The phone will get competition from Motorola's Moto E3 Power and Xiaomi's Redmi 4A in the sub-Rs. 7000 segment.
