Moto C could be Motorola's cheapest smartphone; render leaked

Motorola is gearing up to introduce a new series of smartphone called Moto C, which will be more affordable than the Moto E line up till date. Renders and specifications of the new Moto C smartphone have surfaced online.

The renders show the Moto C in three color options — Black, Red and Gold. Design-wise the phone looks a mix of Moto G5 and Lenovo's Vibe C2. It sports a plastic body, and has hardware navigation keys, rear faced bottom speakers like Vibe C2, and Moto G5-like circular camera module bump on the back.

As far as specs are concerned, the Moto C is rumored to feature 5-inch FWVGA display, MediaTek MT6737M processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, 5MP/2MP cameras and 2300mAh battery. It will run Android Nougat and will have dual-SIM slots and microSD card slot.

The Moto C is expected to be priced more affordably than the Moto E series. It is rumored to carry a price tag between $50 (Rs. 3,300) and $80 (Rs. 5,200). The phone is due to launch shortly, and it is most likely, the Moto C will be released India as well. An exact launch date is yet to be revealed.

Besides Moto C, Motorola is also expected to launch the Moto E4 line up as well soon.
