ZOPO launches Color X 5.5 in India for Rs. 11,999
Chinese smartphone maker ZOPO Mobiles is launching a new smartphone in India called Color X 5.5. The phone sports metal-unibody design and has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.
The ZOPO Color X 5.5 features 5.5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6737 processor paired with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be further increased via microSD card.
For photography, there's 8MP f/2.2 rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. Both front and rear cameras get LED flash to provide better selfies in low-ligh environments. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Marshmallow based CoolUI 8.0 and supports 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity. A 2500mAh battery keeps the lights on.
It comes with a feature called "One Button Access", which is essentially fingerprint gestures that lets you control the smartphone by touching the home button. You can tap to unlock, one tap to go back, double tap to return to home and long tap to open used recently used apps.
Priced at Rs. 11,999, the ZOPO Color X 5.5 will be available via major offline retail stores from April 20. It comes in interesting colors such as Charcol Black, Royale Gold, Orchid Gold and Space Grey. ZOPO is also offering 365 days (1 year) replacement warranty if there’s any hardware defect in the phone.
For the said price, ZOPO's Color X 5.5 will be competing with Redmi Note 4, Moto G5 and the recently launched Coolpad's Cool 1, all which are priced almost similarly.
