Origin's EON15-S gaming laptop with Kaby Lake, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics starts at $999


Custom gaming PC maker Origin has introduced a new customizable budget gaming laptop called Eon15-S equipped with NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card (4GB video RAM) and Intel's seventh generation Kaby Lake processors.

The Eon 15-S features 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display. Apart from the screen and graphics card, everything else is configurable.

The base model starting at $999 comes with Core i3-7100H processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM and 120GB SSD, Windows 10 for your basic gaming needs. However,  the top model can be configured with Windows 10 Pro, 2.8GHz Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, up to 32GB RAM and up to 6TB storage (thanks to a 2.5 inch drive bay and an M.2 PCIe slot).

Whatever configuration you choose, the Eon15-S will come with 2 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a USB 3.0 Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, card reader, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, headphone/mic ports, 2MP webcam, fingerprint reader and customizable RGB keyboard.

The laptop promises up to six hours of battery life, weighs about 5.1 pounds and the front panel can be customized with various colors.
