Vodafone offers 4GB free data for SuperNet 4G SIM upgrade
Vodafone India has announced that it is offering 4GB of free data to its subscribers who upgrade to SuperNet 4G SIM. However, to be eligible for the offer, you will need to have a 4G enabled handset.
The 4G SIM card can be purchased from Vodafone Stores, Vodafone Mini Stores and multi brand outlets across the circle.You can also get the SIM card delivered to your doorstep by calling *121*444# or 199. The offer is currently available in select circles like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, UP West and Uttrakhand
The free 4G data will be added to your account within two hours of the SIM exchange says Vodafone. For pre-paid subscribers, the 4GB data will come with a validity of 10 days, which is a bit disappointing, whereas for postpaid subscribers, the validity is till their next billing date.
How to upgrade to a Vodafone SuperNet 4G SIM and get 4GB free data

- Walk-in to any nearby Vodafone Store, Vodafone Mini Store or multi-brand outlet and get your 4G SIM
- To activate the 4G SIM card, use your existing Vodafone number to SMS ‘SIMEX ’ to 55199 (this number will be available on the new SIM card/jacket given to you)
- You will receive a response SMS from 55199 with partial SIM number entered
- Please send the last 6 digits of the new SIM number to 55199 within 2 hours of receiving the SMS mentioned in the above step
- You will receive a success SMS post which your 4G SIM will be activated within 20 minutes.
- Subsequently, replace your old SIM in the handset with the new 4G SIM and continue to enjoy un-interrupted Vodafone services.
