Huawei unveils MateBook E 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablet
Huawei at its event in Berlin on Tuesday introduced the MateBook E 2-in-1 tablet. It is follow up to last year' MateBook tablet, and the company's answer to Microsoft's Surface Pro and Apple's iPad Pro. It comes with Kaby Lake-Y series chip, improved screen resolution, improved battery life and improved keyboard cover.
Similar to the MateBook, the new MateBook E features 12-inch screen but gets a higher resolution of 2160 x 1440 instead of Full HD. Huawei will offer the tablet with the options of Intel Core M3-Y730 and Core i5-7Y54 processors with Intel HD 615 graphics, up to 8GB RAM and up to 512GB PCIe SSD.
It comes with a USB Type-C port, WiFi 802.11ac, a fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm audio jack, and promises up to 9.5 hours of battery life. It meausres 278.8 x 194.1 x 6.9mm and weighs 640g, and comes in Champagne Gold and Titanium Gray.
The keyboard cover functions as a stand and sports a hinge that allows you to adjust the screen angle to 160-degree. It will be available in Blue, Brown and Pink color.

Core i5 + 4GB RAM + 256GB SSD: 1199 Euros
Core i5 + 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD: 1299 Euros
It will be available this summer.
