LG X power2 with giant battery releasing globally this month

The battery-centric LG X power2 made its debut just ahead of MWC 2017, and at that time LG said that it will hit the market in March, which did not happen. Now the company has announced that the X power2 will start shipping later this month, starting with North America, followed by Asia, Europe, Latin America and other regions. The pricing and exact date of availability will be announced locally in each market.

To recap, the main highlight of X power2 is its battery capacity of 4800mAh, which LG claims can last for an entire weekend before requiring recharging.. On a full charge, it is rated to deliver up to 26 hours of talk time, 18 hours of video playback or 19 hours of web browsing. It also supports fast charging, promising charge of up to 50 percent in one hour and full charge in just two hours.

Coming to the other specs, the LG X power2 boots Android Nougat and is powered by an 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with 1.5GB/2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card. It has 5.5-inch HD display, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP selfie camera with soft-light LED flash, WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE.

It comes in Black Titan, Shiny Titan, Shiny Gold and Shiny Blue colors.
