Moto X 2017 to be called Moto X4, new details out


More details about Motorola's upcoming Moto X 2017 has hit the interwebs, thanks to a presentation video surfacing from China. Additionally Evan Blass has revealed that the Moto X 2017 will hit the market under the moniker Moto X4.

The video shows the Moto X4 in various angles, with the tag line "Unlimited Perfection - The perfection and appeal of a flagship device at a friendly price" suggesting that Moto X4 will have a premium design and high-end specs at an affordable price.



It also reveals some of the key features of Moto X4 like metal and 3D glass body with glass finish on the front and metal finished on the sides and back. The Moto X4 will also have dual-cameras with dual-tone LED flash, AI Integration, Always on Voice, LTE modem with support for 3XCA, and Turbo charging. It will also be IP68 rated, meaning, it will be water and dust resistant.

Though the video does not reveal the specs of Moto X4, Motorola at the presentation revealed some of the details like 5.5-inch display, Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and 3800mAh battery. As mentioned earlier, it will have dual-cameras, but details are not known.

Unfortunately, a specific launch date is still not known, but the existence of the presentation, suggests that the Moto X4 will see the light of the day soon. Besides Moto X4, Motorola will also launch Moto E4, Moto C and Moto Z2 line of smartphones.
