Polar A370 comes with continuous heart rate monitoring and advanced sleep analytics
Polar has announced a new fitness tracker called A370, and like the company's other wearable, it is capable for fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking.
However as an upgrade over the previous A360, which only took heart rate readings during workouts, the new A370 can continuously monitor your heart rate day and night every five minutes, whether you're resting and exercising.
It also gets an advanced Polar Sleep Plus analytics, an intelligent sleep system with a smart algorithm that tracks the timing, amount and quality of your sleep with the 3D accelerometer. Furthermore, GPS via mobile enables you to track distance, speed and route when Polar A370 is connected to the Polar Flow app on your phone and you’re doing outdoor sports.
Polar says the "A370's continuous HR monitoring, coupled with Polar Sleep Plus insights, provides a 24/7 approach to fitness with actionable steps, whether you're running, lifting weights or home relaxing."
The wearable is waterproof and comes with a touchscreen display, that shows information like incoming notifications for incoming calls, messages, social media and calendar appointment. It comes with changeable wristbands, which are made of soft material and has a secure buckle. The wristbands are available in six colors and two sizes.
The Polar A370 is priced at $179, and is now available for pre-order from the company website. Shipping begins in June.
