Moto Z2 specs confirmed by GFXBench


Motorola is expected to unveil its 2017 flagship, the Moto Z2 anytime soon. The specifications are no secret, as the device popped up on Geekbench and AnTuTu benchmarks. Moreover, alleged renders have shown what the Moto Z2 will look like. Now it has been spotted on GFXBench, confirming the specs once again.

According to the combined listing the Moto Z2 will come with 5.5-inch QHD display, 2.45GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform w/ Adreno 540 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It will have 12MP dual-cameras at the back will be capable of shooting 4K videos, and 5MP selfie camera, both accompanied by dual-tone LED flash.

It is most likely to ship with Android 7.1.1, and have dedicated slots for dual-SIMs and microSD card. Other expected features are fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC and USB Type-C. Unfortunately the battery capacity is not known, but it should be between 3000mAh and 3500mAh battery.

To refresh, the main highlight of Moto Z line up is its semi-modular capabilities. Motorola offers optional accessories called Moto Mods that snap to the back of Moto Z line to give it extra functionality. For instance, the Moto Mods can transform a Moto Z device to a loud speaker, hand-held gaming console, projector and more. There are few Mods that gives the device extra battery life and stylish look.

Along with Moto Z, Motorola is also expected to launch the Moto Z Force. Most of its specs will be same as Moto Z2, but it will be more rugged thanks to Shatterproof display.

The Moto Z2 was expected to be announced on June 27, but that didn't happen, and now it is being rumored that it will be launched on June 30.
