Samsung Galaxy Note8 surfaces in renders

Recently, we got to know the possble specs, pricing and launch time frame of Galaxy Note8's release. Now renders and 360 degree video based on factory CADs of the device have surfaced, showing off the design, as well as reveal few aspects.

Just like the Galaxy S8 line, the Galaxy Note8 will also get near bezel-less design, but will be slightly thicker to house the S Pen and the dual-cameras. It will have a rectangular shape and the dimensions are said to be 162.4 x 74.5 x 8.4mm. The thickness will go up to 9.5mm due to the rectangular camera bump at the back.

The dual-cameras at the back are horizontally placed on a rectangular bump, that also houses the dual-LED flash, heart rate sensor and fingerprint sensor. These are neatly arranged side by side, and are protected by glass.

The renders also confirm that the fingerprint scanner will be placed at the back. Earlier rumors suggested that the fingerprint scanner would be embedded into the display. On the front, there's the front camera, and sensors for iris scanner, face unlock and more. On the bottom, the device has USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headset jack, speaker, and a silo to house the S Pen stylus.

Previous reports have suggested that Galaxy Note8 will have 6.3-inch screen, and use the same display technology as Galaxy S8 line: Infinity display with Super AMOLED panel bearing the resolution of 2K or QHD. It will be equipped with Exynos 8895 or Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB RAM, 12MP dual cameras and 3300mAh battery. It will support the DeX function, and the S Pen will get a couple of new features like full-sentence language translation and currency conversion.

The Galaxy Note8 is said to be the most expensive smartphone ever by Samsung carrying a price tag of $900 or 999 Euros. The unveiling is set to take place sometime in the second half of September.
