Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 now available in India at Rs. 47,990


Samsung at this year's edition of MWC, introduced its flagship tablet the Galaxy Tab S3 boasting powerful innards, that you find in 2016's flagship smartphones. Now the South Korean tech giant has launched the tablet in India for Rs. 47,990.

Flaunting a metal body, the tablet has a thickness of just 6mm, making it one of the slimmest tablets, and includes a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. It comes with S Pen and an optional keyboard accessory as well for increased productivity.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Tab S3 features 9.7-inch QXGA Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 13MP/5MP cameras and 6000mAh battery.

The tablet runs Android Nougat and has slots for microSD card, and a single nano SIM to take advantage of the tablet's 4G LTE connectivity for voice calling. It is also compatible with Reliance Jio's SIM card.

The Galaxy Tab S3 is now available across the country in major mobile retail stores in Black and Silver colors. The S-Pen Stylus will come bundled with the tablet, but you have to purchase the keyboard separately. The Book Cover is priced Rs. 2,999, while the Keyboard cover will cost Rs. 8,499.

Samsung also announced launch offers, that include "One time screen replacement within 1 year for purchases till July 31" and "Jio double data offer 28GB + 28GB at Rs. 309 till December 31"
