Asus and Jio team up to offer up to 100GB of additional data

Asus recently announced price cut on its ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Max in India, and now to further sweeten the deal, it has teamed up with Reliance Jio to offer additional data on select devices. Jio will be offering up to 10GB data per month for 10 months. Previously the telecom operator partnered with Xiaomi and Gionee for such an offer.

The 'Additional Data Offer' only applies for Jio Prime members who have purchased eligible Asus devices from June 16, 2017. Users will get additional data voucher with every recharge of Rs. 309 or above, limited to 10 recharges till 31 March 2018.

The devices eligible for the offer are divided into three groups. The additional data will be credited within 48 hours of recharge.

The Group 1 devices will get 3GB of 4G data per recharge of Rs. 309 and above for 10 months. The devices include Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone Max, Zenfone Live, Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE, Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE, Zenfone Go 5.5 LTE.

The Group 2 device will get 5GB of 4G data voucher per recharge for 10 months. These include Zenfone 2, Zenfone 2 Laser, Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5, Zenfone 3S Max, Zenfone 3 Laser, Zenfone 3 Max 5.2, Zenfone 3 Max 5.5

The Group 3 devices will get additional 4G data of 10GB per recharge and devices eligible are Zenfone Zoom, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Zenfone 3 Ultra, Zenfone 3 5.2, Zenfone 3 5.5.

To avail the offer users of eligible devices need to download My Jio app, and go to My Vouchers > View Voucher > Recharge my number > Confirm Recharge for the extra 4G data.

Reliance Jio on its website notes that two or more offers cannot be clubbed together, so users on 'Additional Data Offer' will not get benefit of any other offer during the period.
