Honor 8 Pro will be available in Open Sale on Amazon India starting July 13


Huawei's Honor brand released the Honor 8 Pro flagship in India last week. It carried a price tag but was put on a limited sale during Amazon India's Prime Day Sale exclusively for Prime users on July 10.

However starting tomorrow, July 13 (midnight tonight), the Honor 8 Pro can be purchased by everyone on Amazon India, as it will be on open sale. Color options include Navy Blue and Midnight Black.

The smartphone will be offered with no cost EMI for a period of three, six, nine or 12 months via Bajaj Finserv. In addition Vodafone subscriber will get 45GB free data for five months. These offers will be available for purchases made between July 13th and July 31st, 2017.

The Honor 8 Pro sports a premium all-metal unibody design with a slim 7mm waistline, and has a dual-camera system at the back. It runs Android Nougat based EMUI 5.1 and has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

The dual camera system consists of 12MP (Monochrome) + 12MP (RGB) sensors and are also capable of capturing 3D creative photos, which can be used to make 3D prints. The rear cameras features f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, laser auto-focus, dual-LED flash and is capable of recording 4K videos.

As for the other specs, the Honor 8 Pro features 5.7-inch QHD display, 2.4GHz octa-core Hi-Silicon Kirin 960 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, 8MP selfie camera, NFC, USB Type-C and 4000mAh battery, that promises two days of battery life on normal usage or 1.44 days with heavy usage.
