Lenovo launched the battery-centric P2 smartphone in India earlier this year in January. It was offered in two variants: 3GB RAM at Rs. 16,999 and 4GB RAM at Rs. 17,999. Now both these models have received a discount of Rs. 3,500 and Rs. 2,500 respectively.

The Lenovo P2 3GB RAM variant is now priced at Rs. 13,499, while the 4GB RAM versions now costs Rs. 15,499. The P2 will be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey colors. It is not known whether the price drop is permanent or not.

To recap the specs, the Lenovo P2 packs a beefy 5000mAh battery, which promises 3 days of run time. It also can be used as a powerbank to charge other devices via USB OTG thanks to support for reverse charging function. The device also works with 24W Rapid Charger, that give up to 10 hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charge.

The Lenovo P2 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 32GB expandable storage, fingerprint scanner, 13MP/6MP cameras, NFC and 4G VoLTE. It ships with Android Marshmallow, however, Nougat update is available for the device.
