Putin-Trump Nokia 3310 edition costs $2500

The 2017 edition of the iconic Nokia 3310 has made the feature phones popular once again. Back in March Russia based custom phone designer Caviar gave the handset a royal treatment and introduced Nokia 3310 Supremo, inspired by Russian president Valdimir Putin and it carried a hefty price tag of around Rs. 1 lakhs ($1500).

Now the company is back with another luxury edition of nostalgia-filled feature phone. Dubbed Nokia 3310 Putin-Trump Summit edition, the device is to commemorate the historic meeting of US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit.

The Nokia 3310 Putin-Trump Summit edition sports a titanium body and is coated with a 'Damascus Steel' pattern. It has gold plated portraits of Trump and Putin at the back of the casing. The venue and date of the meet-up ( July 7, 2017 in Hamburg Germany at the G20 summit) of the presidents is also embossed on the lower back in gold.

Caviar says the gold plaque containing the portraits of the two presidents symbolizes their "common desire for progress in the US-Russia relations."

The new Nokia 3310 Putin trump edition is even more costlier than the Nokia 3310 Putin edition. It costs 149,000 Russian Rubles, which is roughly around $2471 or Rs. 1.6 lakhs. For comparison the regular Nokia 3310 costs Rs. 3,310 or $55.
